Littleton High School/Dais
y Bronson Middle School Principal Jennifer Carbonneau spent time working with North Country Charter Academy's Lisa Lavoie and members of the American
Legion on 3/7/2018. Partnerships in our community are strong. Thanks to everyone for attending.

I wanted to share with our Crusader Community some of the wonderful things that took place this weekend.

On Friday night we inducted 14 new members into the National Honor Society and bestowed pins upon our 10 continuing senior members.  It was a wonderful evening.  The senior members shared funny and touching insights about the new student members, and each of the student speakers put a great deal of effort into the words they chose to share with us.  Thank you to the members of our community who were able to join us in supporting these students on Friday evening.

On Saturday, Mrs. Carbonneau, Mrs. Roberts, Mrs. Haney and parent Mrs. Cindy Sparks joined me in bringing 31 students to Essex Junction Vermont for the FMSC MobilePack.  (A big thank you to each of them for taking the time to do this and lending their support!). This was our 5th year attending and I am very proud to say that our numbers have grown significantly since the first year that I brought students to this event.  We contributed 2 large tote bags stuffed with canned goods for the Essex Junction community, nearly $300 in fundraising money, and assisted in the packing of 152 boxes worth of meals.  To give you some idea of the scope of our impact in the short 2 hours that we were there: our 36 volunteers helped to pack 32,832 meals which contributed to the total 180,864 meals that were packed over a 2 day period at that location - meaning that 298 children are able to eat every day for a year because of the efforts of our group.
