What: Littleton Community ALICE Training

When: May 17, 2018   6:30 p.m.

Where: Littleton High School Cafeteria

The highest priority of SAU 84 and the Littleton School District is to provide a safe and secure learning environment for all students and staff.  Our staff have been working on implementing ALICE training concepts since the 2016-17 school year and would like to educate the community. The purpose of ALICE (Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter and Evacuate) is to prepare individuals to handle the threat of an aggressive intruder or active shooter.

The district safety committee has been working closely with the local Police and Fire Departments.  We want to ensure the schools staff and students have the skills necessary to stay safe in an active shooter situation and believe the parents and community are key partners.

We would like to invite all parents, guardians, students and community members interested in learning more about ALICE.  Our ALICE instructors, along with members of the Littleton Police Department will lead this training. Those that would like may take part in active scenarios.

If you have any questions regarding ALICE community training, please call Greg Fillion, LHS ALICE Instructor at 444-5601 or Matt Champagne, LES ALICE Instructor at 444-2831.
